Misun Ahn is an architect registered in New York, founder of Misun and Partners established in 2018. Misun and Partners connects architects and engineers internationally and promotes projects in the U.S, creating and enhancing sustainable built environment.
After graduating from Yonsei University with B.S. and M.S. in architectural engineering, focusing on environmental issues, and from University of Virginia Graduate School of Architecture, she spent three years at Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill, LLP, followed by years of serving as architect in New York and Seoul. She was influenced by Frank Williams, who showed her a path of an architect. She taught at Hongik, Hanyang, and Dankook University in S. Korea.
Misun Ahn is a photographer of nature and built environment. She has traveled far and wide. She has taken pictures all her adult life and donates pictures to ARTstor.
Misun Ahn, LEED AP BD+C, O+M, ID+C, is dedicated to nature and sustainability. She grows plants as green pets and walks with dogs.
